By Train: The nearest railway station of Kasauli is Kalka railway station which is situated at a distance of 40 km. Kalka railway station is well connected to major cities of India such as Delhi, Kolkata, Amritsar and Mumbai. Tourists can use prepaid taxis from this station.

1. Kasauli Club

Kasauli Club located in the premises of the Indian Army Cantonment was established in 1880. The club is one of the respected social clubs in India and is considered for 15 years before a person becomes a member of this club. The secretary of the club is an Indian Army personnel and he is managed by the club. The most important feature of this club is its woodwork which was destroyed in a fire in this place in 2001. 

The club has two tennis courts, a squash court, card room, billiards room and a garden. Accommodation is also available in this club. The club is associated with Dagshai and Subathu cantonments. Ever since this club was established, a program called Kasauli Night is organized here in the months of May and June every year.

2.Krishna Bhawan Temple

Krishna Bhawan Temple is a beautiful temple situated in the middle of the city and is dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna. This temple, built in 1926, also displays a perfect combination of Indian and European style of architecture, similar to the church. This temple has been constructed and designed according to Vastushastra. The temple was built in collaboration with rulers, experts and local artisans.

This monkey point takes our attention to a particular episode of Ramayana. When Hanuman ji was searching for Sanjeevani booti for Laxman ji, this is the monkey point  where he put his foot during that search. 

The view of the huge snow-capped peaks can be clearly seen from this monkey point. This peak of Monkey Point is leg shaped. The point is managed and operated by the Indian Air Force, due to which special permits are required for entry here. A small Hanuman ji temple is located at this monkey point where a lot of monkeys are found.

4. Guru Nanakji Gurudwara

Gurudwara Sri Guru Nanak Ji is an old religious center of Sikhs located in the market of Gharkhal on the way to Kasauli. Every Sunday a program is organized at the gurudwara after which the kara prasad is distributed among the devotees which is a sweet substance made of flour followed by langar or community food where food is distributed among the people. Those visiting this place can also stay in this gurudwara as there is a facility to stay in the gurudwara. The second gurudwara is situated on Kasauli – Mashobra road which is nearby.

5. Sunset Point

Sunset Point is a famous tourist destination of Kasauli, which is a popular serene place to enjoy the view of the cedar landscape, valleys at sunset. This place receives a large number of tourists every day. This place offers a spectacular view at sunset, but it is better to leave this area before dark or late evening as you cannot get many facilities here at night. 

There is also a walking route to the place which is known as the Gilbert Trail. If you are looking for a good place in Kasauli, then you must go to Sunset Point at least once to see the charming views.

The most famous church of Kasauli is Christ Church which is located on Mall Road.  It is a popular church of Kasauli which was built in 1853.
