1. Butterfly beach

Butterfly Beach in Goa has a hidden beauty, which is now slowly taking the form of a famous place. The reason behind its naming is that this beach is home to many species of butterflies. The captivating sunset, and dolphin watching has always been a plus point of this place. Situated in the north of Goa’s famous Mejorda and Colva coastline and in the southern part of Goa, this amazing coast may have been built by nature in the leisure. You will find none but the birds and lifeguards on this calm and picturesque beach. Here you will find some swimmers who come to swim here after escaping the crowd.

2. Querim Beach

Querim Beach, also known as Kerry Beach, is a northern beach in Goa and is located close to the Tirkol Fort. There is an old Portuguese fort and a 17th-century church situated in a quiet atmosphere in the middle. The fort, which has now been converted into a hotel, can be reached by a foot which rounds every half an hour. A picturesque view here is not to be missed. There are fishing boats that go to the beach every day at 6 pm to go out to sea and return the next morning at 5 pm. Paragliding and other water sports activities occur on the beach. However, it is not safe to swim, especially near the Tiracol estuary.

It is located in South Goa. It is very long and wide beach. Away from the noise of the city, coming here calms the mind. There is not a crowd of too many people here. 5. Colva beach

The length of this coast is about 2.4 km; The beach has fine powder-like white sand and its shape is like coconut leaves.

6. Bambolim Beach

Miramar Beach is like a beach where you sit and watch the sunset in all its glory.

The Reis Magos Fort was captured by the Portuguese in 1760 and its various security towers took care of the enemy who attacked it at that time. Today these towers offer an amazing view of the Mandovi river and Panaji city and anchored ship and cruise can also be seen from here. This fort is made of laterite stones (red clay stones, makherla) giving it a cultural look made of red bricks as opposed to the traditional gray color. The Reis Magos fort was used during the Portuguese era to thwart the Maratha invasions on Goa. After the fall of Portuguese rule, this fort was used as a prison. Today this fort is in abandoned state.

The church was built in 1541 as a chapel on the edge of a hill in the colonial Portuguese Baroque style. The Our Lady of the Immaculate Concept Church was replaced as a large church in Goa in the 1600s. 

This church has an ancient bell, which was removed from the Agustin ruins of the famous Church of Our Lady of Grace (Noosa Senhora da Graça) in the city of Old Goa. When you reach the church, you see the impeccable roads, see the smooth pavement made of small stones and see the statue of the Virgin Mary above the entrance of the church.

The beaches of Goa have a long and wide area of golden sand on the beautiful beach of Arosim Beach, surrounded by clear blue water and filled with thick forest. The shore also remains in this magnificent beach. Arosim Beach is surrounded by three other beaches so it is difficult to distinguish between them. 

All these three beaches belong to the area of Kansaulim village located in Salset taluka (Salset region) in South Goa. On the south side from the Austrim resort you can visit the two world famous beaches of Utarda and Majorda. The distance from Arosim Beach to Margao is about 12 km from the main city, and the distance from Dabolim International Airport is about 16 km.
